A superb Regency period convex mirror of perfect proportions, retaining its original convex plate within a reeded ebonised slip, fitted within a convex frame fitted with giltwood spheres and surmounted by an acanthus adorned apron. On top stands a large ebonised eagle on a carved rock base, on a giltwood plinth terminating with acanthus leaves on either side. The eagle holds within its beak a further set of spheres, attached by a brass chain.
